Wrestlers from Uzbekistan, Australia, Delhi, Manipur to participate
Kohima, December 2 (MExN): The 13th International Hornbill Naga Wrestling Championship 2019 under the aegis Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) will take place on December 4 at the Amphitheatre, Naga Heritage Village, Kisama at 10:00am.
10 best wrestlers each from Angami Sports Association (ASA), Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA), and Zeliang Wrestling Association (ZWA) with other participants from Uzbekistan, Australia, Delhi and Manipur are expected to join the championship. Registration for other communities is still open.
The champions will be awarded Rs. 1.20 lakh while the runner- up will receive Rs. 80,000. The losing semi finalists will get Rs. 30,000 each.
Neiprezo Keditsu, Chairman, Nagaland Khadi & Village Industries Board will grace the occasion as the special guest. The inaugural function will be chaired by NWA Treasurer, Dr Hiabe Zelaing. The presidential address will be delivered by Neivikuolie Khatsu, President, NWA, while the oath will be administered by NWA Joint Secretary, Petekhriezo Dzuvichü.

CWA wrestlers: Vetuzo Dawhuo, Mudotso Thira, Venuzo Dawhuo, Venuo Medeo, Wekhroto Mero, Chekhro Kapfo, Kuchohu Curha, Vekutho Soho, Suhrhovoyi Nienu, Vevohu Swuro.
ZWA wrestlers: Penamhung, Lungemsing, Railong, Machi, Wilungkhangbo, Iculeung, Ireusape, Ilamdi, Haiswadi, Itingchi.
Other wrestlers: Dushyant Kumar (Delhi), Sanju Kumar (Delhi), Sudhir Kumar (Delhi), Ankit Singh (Delhi), Sanju Gautam (Delhi), Conor Murphy (Australia), Tsuknungakum Ao (Mokokchung).
