Nagaland: 13th NLA session to discuss Naga political issue

The 2nd session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) starting from September 18, would witness discussion on Naga political issue.


According to the provisional programme, discussion on Naga political issue has been scheduled for September 20. On the first day, the session will witness obituary references, question hour, introduction of Government Bills, laying of Reports/ Rules, presentation of C & AG Reports, laying of Annual Administrative Reports and presentation of Assembly Committee Reports.


Since September 19 (Wednesday) falls as recess, September 20 proceedings will witness questions hour, consideration and passing of Government Bills, laying of Reports/ Rules (if any), discussion on Naga Political Issue, adoption of resolution (if any) and the session will adjourn sine-die on the same day.


Meanwhile, N Benjamin Newmai, Commissioner & Secretary and K Sekhose, Secretary, NLA in a press release has informed that in view of the 13th NLA, car passes and official gallery passes will be issued from September 14 as under:


• Ministers and AHODs are to collect car passes and Gallery passes from the Special Secretary (Home), Civil Secretariat, Nagaland, Kohima.

• Advisors/MLAs/P.S/P.A and other departments are directed to collect car passes from Reception Counter Gate No-11, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat.

• HODs/Medias are to collect car passes from Reception Counter Gate No-1, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat.
