PHEK, DECEMBER 8 (MExN): Altogether 160 sportspersons are preparing to represent Phek District in the ensuing 1st Nagaland Olympics scheduled from December 12 to 16 at Chumukedima, Dimapur.
Present 92 sports are undergoing coaching for different discipline of sports at Pfutsero, Phek district while sportspersons are also being trained at Kohima and Dimapur for the Olympics.
In this regard, Chakhesang Public Organisation President Kekhwengulo Lea and his colleagues visited the training camp at Pfutsero and encouraged the players to give their best and bring laurels to the community.
Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of Phek District Sports Council, Shanavas C has also been keenly supervising the training of the sportspersons.
