173 Bn CRPF continues civic action prog

Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): The 173 Bn CRPF under the aegis of IGP Manipur and Nagaland sector carried out distribution of piglets under Civic Action Programme 2019-20 on January 16 at Toulazou village, Dimapur.

173 Bn CRPF, Dimapur in a press release stated that speaking on the occasion, Vishnu Gautam, Commandant 173 Bn CRPF underlined the need of such programmes by bridging the gap between Security Forces and local populace. The programme was also attended by WS Singh, 2nd-in-Command C Hangsing, 2nd-in-Command Videkho Keyie, Asstt Comdt Vandemo Ovung, Asstt Comdt along with village chairmen, GBs and the local prominent people of the area along with media were present. 

A total of 21 families benefited through the programme. The unit under CAP 2019-20 also distributed Solar Lamp at Khensa village, Mokokchung, Sintex for water storage at Kirha village, Dimapur and organized Volleyball tournament at Dimapur village, Dimapur.
