18 bands to participate at Hornbill International Rock Contest

The stage is all set as 18 bands from across the country and three other international bands join the four selected bands from Nagaland to vie for top honours at this year’s edition of the Hornbill International Rock Contest. With the Contest being opened to International bands post 2013, this year’s HIRC will have three bands one each from Bhutan, Singapore and USA.   The national auditions of the HIRC had altogether 43 acts from across the country out of which 18 were selected.   The twenty five acts for this year’s HIRC are as follow:
