Lamphel FC stuns Taxi Drivers XI

Lamphel FC, Manipur today stunned High School Taxi Drivers XI with a 7-0 win at the ongoing18th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2017 here.
Francis opened the account for Lamphel FC with an early 5th minute goal while Golmei struck three successive times in the 16th, 24th and 45th minute.
Francis returned in the 58th minute to increase the tally to 4-0. Six minutes later, Golmei struck his 4th and the team’s 6th. The 7th and final goal came in the 70th minute with Fracis completing a hattrick.
Biekrazou FC secured a fairly comfortable 2-0 win over Naga Bazar FC in the second match of the day. Keneikhrietuo Miario and Vilhoubeituo Yhome were the scorers.
Khriekesa FC Meriema edged past Chedema Village Youth Organization 2-1 in the third and last match of the day. Khriekesa led the first half with Rokovolie Phewhou opening the account in the 28th minute. Chedema equalised in the 58th minute through Neingutuolie Thevo but it was shortlived as 8 minutes later Keviyabei-u Keditsii struck to win it for Khriekesa.
