Esu United FC, Nagaland Police enter quarter finals

Esii United FC Manipur and Nagaland Police (DGP Team Red) today entered the quarter finals of the ongoing 18th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2017 here.
Esii United FC found quarter final berth after defeating KVNS 2-1 in the first pre-quarter finals played here today.
A goal each from Leangao and Kapani in the 42nd and 57th minute respectively help Esii United win over KVNS.
A lone goal for KVNS came through Gioden Leo in the 61st minute.
Nagaland Police (DGP Team Red) defeated Nagaland University Kohima Campus 7-0 in the 2nd pre-quarter finals.
Kekhrieletuo opened the account for Nagaland Police in the 3rd minute while Lima increased the score tally by scoring 2nd goal for the team in the 6th minute.
2 minute later, Kekhrieletuo netted another goal while Lima also contributed another goal in the 34th minute, taking the Nagaland Police 4-0 lead till the first half.
Lipoksashi netted a goal for the team in the 37th minute.
Both Kekhrieletuo and Lima fetched hattrick as they scored a goal each again in the 60th and 70th minute respectively.
It may be recalled that the ongoing 18th edition witnessed 35 matches till the completion of the second round, conceding 140goals @ 4goals per match producing 50 yellow cards and 10 hat tricks.
