Forerunners, Khyouchi FC qualifies for quarter finals

Forerunners 4th NAP Thizama and Khyouchi FC Manipur today registered wins in their respective pre-quarter final matches and entered the quarter finals of the ongoing 18th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2017 here.
In the 3th quarter finals, Forerunners 4th NAP Thizama blanked G. Sporting Club Dimapur 4-0.
Mathew Kezhose opened the account for Forerunners in the 15th minute and took the team 1-0 lead till the first haft.
Aloumei Panmei increased the score tally in the 55th minute.
Five minute later, Mathew Kezhose netted his second goal while the fourth goal for the team came through Soihiam Kamei in the 69th minute.
Khyouchi FC defeated Billy Graham FC 5-3 via tie breaker in the 4th quarter finals played today.
Rahul Kamei took Billy Graham FC 1-0 lead against the opponent Khyouchi FC till the first half as he netted a goal for the team in the 25th minute.
The equalizer for Khyouchi FC came through Zudu in the 70th minute.
After the match witnessed 1-1 draw till full allotted time play, the fate of the match was decided through tie-breaker in which Khyouchi FC secured a margin of 4-2.
