DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 19 (MExN): In the first match of day 11 of the ongoing 25th Edition of Loyem Memorial Senior Soccer Open Championship, Lungdon FC defeated Upper Defence Chingmelen by 3-0. The goal came through the boots of Chanbemo in the 15th minute and Shangchiu in the 18th minute of the first half. In the second half of the match a goal from Pushang in the 60th minute increased the goal tally to 3-0 in favour of Lungdon FC. Doson of Lungdon FC and D.Chullo of Upper defence Chingmelen were awarded a yellow cards for foul play. An exciting second match was played between Vetao Ayie FC and Unique Bulls. Chetei through a long volley from the far left corner found the first breakthrough for Vetao Ayie FC in the 27th minute. Later on in the second half Lunso found the equalizer for Unique Bulls in the 32nd minute. A late penalty kick in the dying minute won the match for Vetao Ayie through the successful conversion by Khuyang. Longso of Vetao Ayie was awarded a yellow card.
