DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 4 (MExN): In the 3rd quarter final of the ongoing 25th edition of LMSSOC, Scavenger Hunt FC qualified to the semi final through a tie break win over Donching Yangmei FC A. In the first half Ben Chang of Scavenger Hunt FC obtained an early break in the 10th minute but their hope for win was shattered by the opponent team in the second half through the boots of Aolen who netted an equalizer goal for Dongching Yangmei FC A in the 55th minute. Locked in 1-1 draw the two teams played extra time but neither could score to qualify for the semi finals. The match went to a tie break, which Scavenger Hunt FC won 3-2.
Meanwhile, in the fourth and final quarter final match, Khulioh King FC entered the semi final after they registered a 1-0 win over DEF Tuensang. The solitary goal came through a header from Hanser in the 33th minute. Monday’s Match 1st Semi-Final – Ngangpong FC Vs Sangzi FC Time – 1:00 Pm.
