Kohima, January 23 (MExN): The 28th Annual Day-cum-Picnic of Tragopan Club, Viswema was held on January 22, 2011 at St. Joseph Higher Secondary School with Deputy Secretary Education, Khrüpi Sothu, NCS as the main speaker. In his address, Sothu exhorted the club members to be united and work towards upliftment of the Club under its motto ‘Strength lies in unity’. On the occasion, new team of office bearers for the tenure 2011-2013 was also elected with advocate Vitsorel Lcho as the president and Er. Medoseho Sothu as the general secretary. Other office bearers include vice presidents – Vizoto Kin & Viraseto Neikha; Joint Secretary – Vivashera Nekha, Social & Cultural-cum-Health Secretary – Mahel Kin; Games & Sports Secretary – Evül Sothu, Asst. Games & Sports Secretary – Nyiese Pusa, Tresurer – Vieyol Kweho, Women Coordinator – Vihozonü Rhütso, Property Secretaries – Neizosanü Sothu and Ketovinü Lcho and Advisor – Er. Zale Neikha.
Chaired by president Zale Neikha, the programme commenced with Deacon of Viswema CRC Puzashe Neikha pronouncing the invocation. Neikesenü Sothu gave the general secretary report while folk song were presented by combined team of Eso Whe & Theltsü Whe and Ekhro Whe and Zake Whe. Vice president Meyiekul Noswe tendered the vote of thanks.
