Kohima, October 3 (MExN): The 29th Kidima Catholic Youth Association (KCYA) Day was held on the theme “Have faith in God” with Parish Priest and former Regional Superior of Society of Jesus (SJ) of Kohima, Reverend Father Charles D’Souza as main celebrant from September 30 to October 1 at the Church premises.
Father D’Souza in his homily greeted the youth and asked the large gathering of faithful to love, care and respect all mothers. The youth competed in two groups – St Xavier and St Francis – in solo, duet, quartet, double quartet and group for gospel hymn and various activities during the two day celebrations.
Franciscan Sisters of Saint Mary of the Angels (FSMA), parents and children also joined in the celebration. Incarnation of Mother Mary and Jesus, Holy Mass and felicitation followed by fellowship meal were the highlights of the programme.
