Kohima, March 15 (MExN): The Kohima Air Rifle Club and T. Khel Peli Union of Kohima village is organizing 2nd Sekrenyi Open Air Rifle Shooting competition 2019 on March 17 at T. Khel, Kohima village from 12:00 noon.
In men’s category, the champion will carry a cash prize of Rs. 7000 while the 2nd and 3rd place winner will receive Rs. 5000 and Rs. 3000 respectively.
The organizer informed that cash prizes for the women category will be awarded depending on the number of participants.
Only Spring Air Riffle will be allowed and all the shooters have to bring their own rifle.
Charlie Sekhose will be the inaugural guest of the event.
T. Khel Peli Union president Visasilie Suohu will deliver welcome address.
Sekrenyi feast will be hosted by T. Khel Students’ Union.
T. Khel Inter Peli Tournament 2019
Meanwhile, T. Khel Inter Peli Tournament 2019 under the aegis of T. Khel Youth Organization and T. Khel Peli Union will take place on March 18 at 10:00 AM at T. Khel Ground.
The tournament will be marked by tug of war, Thedze Keya, Thapru, Khuthuo va, Mepfii keti, Tholei tou.
Peli No. 17 will host Sekrenyi feast.
