Dimapur, August 19 (MExN): IQAC Research Cell of Unity College in collaboration with Heritage Publishing House organized the 2nd Unity College lecture series at Seminar Hall, Unity College on August 17. 


The resource person A. Sentiyula, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Dimapur Government College delivered the lecture titled ‘The Emergence of Naga Writings in the Face of Postmodernism.’ The speaker highlighted the trends of literature in Nagaland and also shared the various problems faced by Naga writers. She dissected the approaches taken by these writers to negotiate these problems. She also stressed about an emerging group of writers whose styles will take shape in due course of time and place them in their respective genre of literature. 


The programme was chaired and moderated by Joyce Enyie, Acting Head of the Department of English. This was stated in a press release issued by Temjen Imsong, Computer Operator, Unity College.
