DIMAPUR, MARCH 7 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed that the HSSLC Examination and Class XI Promotion Examination 2018 will commence from March 8 and HSLC Examination 2018 from March 9 onwards.
In HSSLC Examination a total of 15281 candidates (Arts-11339, Commerce-1360, Science-2582) are enrolled and will be appearing from 54 provisional examination centres. Out of this, 7827 are girls and 7404 are boys, NBSE chairperson Asano Sekhose in a press release on Wednesday.
In Arts stream, regular candidates from 146 institutions are enrolled whereas in commerce and science stream, the candidates are from 35 and 38 institutions respectively.
A total of 17704 students will also be appearing for the Class XI Promotion Examination 2018.
In HSLC Examination, 10437 boys and 11275 girls will be appearing for the examination from 78 provisional examination centres and 2 sub-centres.
639 schools are presenting 18872 regular candidates for the HSLC examination. 2835 candidates are repeaters. 2 students are appearing again to improve their result and there are 3 cases of change of centre.
Dimapur district have the highest enrolment of 7094 candidates followed by Kohima district with 3619 candidates.
