3rd Day of 48th National Convention of IEM

Dimapur, October 21 (MExN): Various mission oriented activities and Bible study marked the third day of the 48th National Convention of Indian Evangelical Mission underway at Dimapur Ao Baptist Church (DABA) here.  

In the morning session, Rev. Dr. Sydney Henry, OMF International Director, East Asia South led the Bible Study. He reminded the congregation that the fullness of Christ kindles the heart of the messenger by giving him/her a heart of boldness, integrity, gentleness and one that is blameless and also a heart for his/her disciples, informed a press release.  

This was followed by workshop on Vision Building Team (VBT) and Kingdom Builders. The workshop highlighted the importance of believers volunteering to participate in missions. It also focused on small group/mixed group of people in taking the IEM vision to various places. Another important component of the workshop was the significance of IT professionals making their work place as their mission field and therefore becoming Kingdom Builders.  

The delegates were treated to a cultural extravaganza in which different churches from Dimapur and participants from Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh and DABA mission field, Dibang Valley, Arunachal Pradesh presented their cultural items. In the evening, the message was brought by Rev. Dr. Raja Singh Elias, Gen. Secy, IEM.
