Dimapur, October 1 (MExN): The Dimapur Police personnel under Zone–I recovered approximately 100 kg of contraband ganja from a Manipur registered Mahindra Scorpio on September 30. In this regard, two persons identified as Rashing Valiu and Thotreisem Tankhul were arrested, informed a press release from ADCP/PRO, Dimapur Police. In another incident on October 1, Dimapur Police personnel manning the Chumukedima check gate detected around 240 kg of contraband ganja from an inbound truck bearing registration NL01G-4434. Two persons identified as Chabu Mao and Abung Gwanmai were arrested in connection to the case, the release added.
