Wokha, April 13 (MExN): The 42nd Lotha Middle Range Baptist Churches Women Department Conference (LMRWDC) was held at Yonchucho Baptist Church on April 9 and 10 based on the theme ‘Exemplary Life’ basing on Matthew 5:16. The conference speakers were Renben Murry, Shanthungo Ezung Lecturer (DBC) Dimapur and Meribeni Ngullie LBES women secretary.
Lideno Women leader of Sanis Town chaired the first day service which was attended by 15 different churches and R. Yilobeni Murry chairman and Thungchibeni vice secretary thanked the host church.
Speaking at the conference, Renben Murry said, “Woman should adopt and live their life through Christ with humbleness, tolerance and forgiveness. They have played many roles in life and in each role their performance is par excellence yet the position of women is less satisfactory for which the need of the hour is to uplift the womenfolk in every angle.”
A press note stated that the The Women Association has thanked W. Zubeni Odyuo Borlingri and Mhalo Deputy Commandant 7th NAP Bhandari Town for contribution in making the conference success. They also acknowledged Thomas Ngullie MLA 39 Sanis A/C for contributing Rs. 50,000 towards the LYOBEES.
