Dimapur, October 12 (MExN): The Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo (DABA) will be hosting the 48th National Convention of the Indian Evangelical Mission (IEM) from October 19 to 22 under the theme: “Fullness in Christ.”
A total of 900 delegates (700 from outside Nagaland, 100 from NBCC Affiliated Associations and 100 from Nagaland IEM supporters) are expected to attend the Convention, informed a press release issued by Rev. Dr. N. Tzüdir, Pastor, Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo.
Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, General Secretary, NBCC; Rev. Dr. Raja Singh Elias, General Secretary, IEM and Bro. Jenny Christopher, HoD, Church Ministries, IEM will speak at the Convention with Rev. Dr. Sydney Henry, OMF International Director, East Asia South leading the Bible Study. Rev. Andrew Semp, Director, NMM and Rev. Halli Likha Ama, Secretary, NEI, EFI will also lead the congregation in devotion.
Discipleship Bible College, Khuda Baptist Church, DABA Youth Choir, Dimapur Lotha Baptist Church and DABA Duncan Choir will be sitting their choirs at the Convention. Also Medziphema Town Ao Baptist Church, Kuki Baptist Church Nagarjan, Mountain Music Academy Choir, Sangtam Baptist Church Dimapur, Khiamniungan Baptist Church Dimapur and Dimapur Phom Baptist Church Choir will be presenting special numbers with Discipleship Bible College and Eastern Bible College presenting the opening and closing ceremonies respectively.
Another feature of this convention will be a cultural programme on October 21 at 2:00 pm presented by Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church, Chang Baptist Church Dimapur, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh, Chakhesang Baptist Church, Dimapur, Rengma Baptist Church Padumpukhuri and many more.
