69th Naga Plebiscite Day observed at Wokha town

Wokha, May 16 (MExN): NNC delegates from Mokokchung, Wokha, Phek and Kohima observed Naga Plebiscite Day on May 16 at Wokha town.

Khriekhotuo Mor, President Angami Regional Council NNC in a press release stated General (Retired) Thinoselie M Keyho’s presidential message on Plebiscite Day was read out by the President of NNC Angami Regional Council.

Several Senior NNC Workers also delivered short speeches in the function. Vice President stressed on the importance and its landmark achievement of NNC – “Naga Plebiscite.” The President of Angami Region (NNC) emphasized on the need and urgency of a “United Naga” to enable the NNC to save the Nagas today and their future.

Acting President, Ao Region NNC in his speech pressed hard on coming together by the Nagas based on Nagas Plebiscite which is very vital. President Lotha Region urged Nagas to join hand and uphold the NNC. Lastly, a noted leader said all the Naga Tribes must unite and raise a collective voice for the Naga cause.

The occasion was chaired by TS Keyho, Vice President of NNC. God’s blessing was invoked by Reverend Elhio Pastor CRC Pongitong. Chenirao Humtsoe, member of Central Executive NNC pronounced welcome address. T Oren Lotha, Presisent Lotha Regional Council pronounced vote of thanks.
