6th North-East India Choral Competition on November 4

The Tangkhul Christian Charitable Trust- a non-profit body destined for the less-privileged masses, with partial attention to the NE will be organising the 6th North-East India Choral Competition on November 4 at Thyagaraj Stadium, Shri Ganganath Marg, INA Colony. This year 9 choir groups will take part in the event where Jim Joy of Global Harvest Ministries International will be the main speaker for the occasion.   The chief guests are Losii Dikho, Cabinet Minister Govt. of Manipur and Nemcha Kipgen, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Govt. of Manipur. The North-East India Choral Competition (NEICC) is an annual singing competition event held in Delhi participated by choirs from the North-East states under the theme “Togetherness”.   Cash prizes with certificates are awarded to winners while all competing choirs and participants receive consolation awards. With an aim to bring together the various churches and fellowships of North-East community in Delhi, a joint service will be conducted in conjunction with the occasion for harnessing love and harmony. The prize money for the competition are - 1st Prize: Rs. 3 lakhs; 2nd Prize: Rs. 2 lakhs; 3rd Prize: Rs. 1 lakh.
