Our Correspondent Kohima | November 13 The 6th edition of the open Kohima district volleyball championship 2018 for both men and women under the aegis of Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) will take place from November 22 to 26 at Kohima Local Ground, Khuochiezie. Forms have been made available at Zumvü Printex @ RS Building, Main town Kohima, Northern Sports below CANSSEA office Kohima and Star Sports @ BOC Kohima. Interested clubs, teams, colonies/wards, army, CRPF, police, schools, colleges, villages and churches within Kohima district may avail the forms and join the tournament. Last date for submission of entry forms is November 17. The champion in men category will fetch a cash prize of Rs. 35,000 while the runner- up will receive Rs. 25,000. Losing semi finalists will receive Rs. 5000 each. In women’s category, the champion will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 while the runner-up will get Rs. 15,000. Losing semi finalists will get Rs. 5000 each. Individual prizes for best spiker and best setter in both men and women category will get Rs. 2000 each. Fixtures for the tournament will be drawn on November 20 at Kohima Local Ground @ 3:00 PM. Team manager/coach/team representative of all teams have been requested to attend the same.
