Kohima, October 19 (MExN): The 78 Battalion CRPF organized civic action programme at Zubza village and distributed solar lamps and water storage tank among the villagers of Sechu-Zubza and Dzudza on October 19. A total of 56 solar lanterns were distributed to the beneficiaries from Sechü Zübza while 31 water storage tanks (500 ltr) were given to Dzüdza villagers.
Syamchand De, DIGP (Ops) CRPF, Kohima handed over the items to the villagers of Sechu-Zubza and Dzudza. Anil Kumar Jha, 2-I/C, Commandant (AOD) in his speech, expressed joy to organize the programme.
The 78 Bn, Central Reserve Police Force since its induction in Nagaland has been organizing such programmes among the civilian public to share their grievances and to provide basic amenities.
