Zunheboto, October 25 (MExN): The 8th Inter Departmental Tournament culminated on October 25 at Zunheboto. The three-day event was held at DSCZ Indoor Stadium Zunheboto.
Altogether 37 departments participated in the disciplines, badminton, table tennis and carom, a DIPR release stated.
In the Badminton (Doubles) Shanavas C and Zhoi Lohe (Administration) came first, followed by Shiluho Chophy and H Hinoka Sema (SDEO Zunheboto) as runners up.
In the Badminton Singles, H Hinoka Sema (SDEO Zunheboto) and Shanavas C (Administration) won first and second respectively.
Viholi Chishi (DHO Horticulture) emerged champion in the Badminton (Women's Singles) and Tunali S ADS(Supply Zunheboto) came second.
In Table Tennis (doubles), Abeka P Awomi and Anguka Wotsa (NST)and Aketo Katty and Oketo Chishi (DSCZ) came first and second.
Kumsuto Ayemi (PWD Mech) and Oketo Z Chishi (DSCZ) were winners of the Table Tennis (Singles).
In Carom (Men's Doubles), Vikheshe Sumi and Boheto Yeptho (SP Zunheboto) and ADS Hokugha Aye and Sukhayi Zhimo (Supply Zunheboto) won first and second respectively.
