Kohima, August 18 (MExN): The office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E) has informed all Departmental Directorates that, registration for DDOs authorized to sanction Refundable/ Non-refundable/ Final payment GPF of account holders maintained in the AG Office will commence shortly.
“The DDO module is designed to enable check on the balances of subscribers before according sanction on Refundable/Non-refundable/Final Payment GPF,” a press release from the Information Cell of the office informed.
A separate form titled “For Drawing & Disbursing Officers” is available for download at the Office website – www.agnagaland.gov.in.
All Sr. Treasury Officers/ Treasury Officers are also informed to submit registration forms for activation of Sr. Treasury officer/ Treasury Officer module so as to enable a second tier check on bills pertaining to Refundable/ Non-refundable/ Final payment before authorizing payment. A separate form titled “For Sr. Treasury Officers/ Treasury Officers” can be downloaded from the Office website. The filled in forms may be submitted to the directorates for due consolidation before submitting to the Office.
In this connection, all Directorates have been requested to initiate registration of concern DDOs under their jurisdiction and the Sr. Treasury Officer/ Treasury Officers are also requested to register on or before August 31.
