Kiphire, September 4 (MExN): The Agape School, Kiphire today celebrated pre-Teachers’ Day in the school campus with students, teachers and the faculties.
Congratulating the teachers on the occasion, the School Administrator, Lipichem expressed appreciation to the teachers for being in the profession which “is above all professions.” He also urged them to be a model and play the role of formation inorder to achieve the calling as a teacher.
The Administrator also quoted, “teachers represent the past, reveal the present and create the future.” The school authority along with the teachers and students also visited district hospital and donated five bags of rice.
Hekani who spoke on behalf of the teachers encouraged her co-workers to be more sincere and dedicated. She also said that teaching is a very respectful and admired profession as there is respect and honour. Adiba of class 10 spoke on behalf of the students. Kitoka won the lucky teacher draw. The programme was followed by funtertainment where all the classes took part in the activity.
