Kohima, December 17 (MExN): The newly constructed “Agri-link road and Marketing Shed” under MGNREGA at Kezoma Village was inaugurated on December 12.
According to a press release from Kezoma VDB Secretary Zadekhweto Zecho, District Rural Development Agencies (DRDA) Project Director Kohima Alemla J. Chishi in the presence of Khovi Thaprii BDO RD Block Jakhama, inaugurated the structures.
Alemla also graced the GPDP-Gram Sabha day at KVSU Hall and lauded the VDB and Village Council in coordinating regarding the governance and developmental activities relating to the welfare and security of the people.
She also commented the transparency and activities which are done in an open way earning the people’s trust, and expressed her admiration of the Village Council Hall measuring 80ft X58ft double storey building which is in the process of completing.
Addressing the public, Khovi pointed out the importance and significance of the day. While appreciating the community development, an intensive interaction was held and issues concerning the critical gap and major challenges faced by the villagers were also discussed.
On the developmental Front, the Village Chairman spoke on the evolution and progress of various establishments.
The program was chaired by Village Council Secy. and invocation by Pastor CRC Kezoma. The program highlight included a detailed Project report of the Agri-link road and Marketing Shed by VDB Secy. Vote of thanks was delivered by Head GB stating.
