Kohima, September 5 (MExN): Department of Agriculture, Kohima organized farewell programme in honour of their retiring officers Temjensoba, Joint Director and Alemla Yalem, Assistant Superintendent at Directorate conference hall on August 31. Helie Rupre-o, Director of Agriculture congratulated the retiring officers for completing 35 years of continuous service in the Department. He lauded them for their valuable contribution towards the department and wished them happy retired life, informed a press release. Meanwhile, the retiring officers delivered short speeches, where they expressed great joy, happiness and thanked God and the Department for giving their fullest support and cooperation throughout their entire service career. They acknowledged that many good experiences have been gained during their service which will never fade away. Farewell speech on behalf of Directorate officers and staff was delivered by Thungjamo Lotha, Additional Director. Short speeches were also delivered by other officials.
