Airtel makes 3G, 4G data cheaper for prepaid users

New Delhi, August 29 (IANS) In order to bring down the cost of internet usage for its prepaid users, Bharti Airtel has announced two internet packs, a company statement said here on Monday.   The telecom services provider is now offering a yearly plan for Rs 1,498 and a half-yearly plan for Rs 748, which provide 1GB 4G/3G data with a validity of 28 days and 1GB 4G/3G data packs at nominal prices subsequently.   "(In the yearly plan) the customer can enjoy 1GB 4G/3G recharges for just Rs 51 over a period of 12 months. There is no limit on the number of recharges during the period and higher the number of recharges the more value a customer gets," the statement said.

In the half-yearly plan, customers can enjoy 1GB 4G/3G recharges for just Rs 99 over a period of six months.   "With these innovative packs, we are redefining the value proposition on our data packs and allowing our customers to get a lot more within the same budget," said Ajai Puri, Director-Operations (India and South Asia), Bharti Airtel.   These prepaid packs are live in Delhi currently and will get launched across circles by August 31, the statement added.
