ANCSU submits memo on teachers' assignments

DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 8 (MExN): The All Nagaland College Students' Union (ANCSU) has submitted a representation to the Minister for School Education and Parliamentary Affairs expressing concern that teachers appointed to be posted in their respective schools are attached to other assignments. This, the ANCSU said “clearly indicates the failure in progress of Primary, Elementary, High school and Secondary Education in Nagaland.” The ANCSU said that the department should take strict compliance as per the order dated October 31, 2017, keeping in view that government schools and its institutions are not even being able to produce the minimum pass percentage in the board examinations conducted annually. It further urged that teachers attached to SSA/RUSA/Supervisor/EBRC/TOT should also be recalled for continuation of their assignment at their pre-detached posting place.
