ANDSMA to go for 3-Day stir from Nov 27

Kohima, November 19 (MExN): The All Nagaland District Ministerial Service Association (ANDMSA) has decided to go ahead with the 1st phase of its proposed agitation all over the state from November 27. The first phase of the agitation will be 3-day ‘Pen-Down and Computer-Shutdown stir’ from November 27-29, stated a press note from the Association. It was resolved at its federal meeting held on November 17 after State Government failed to agree on the genuine demand of the ANDMSA, it said. The Association will intensify the agitation if there is response from the Government thereafter, it added. The District Units of ANDMSA are also directed to monitor their respective Districts as resolved at the meeting. It further appealed the general public to bear with the inconvenience and also requested them to co-operate with the Association. Among others, the ANDMSA is demanding the amalgamation of Directorate and District Ministerial Cadre into Common Ministerial Cadre as recruitment policy; elevation of HA/Sr. HA to District Superintendent Class-I and SDHA/Accountant to Class-II; and Creation of District Superintendent Class-I and Assistant District Superintendent Class-II in all the independent DDOs of Districts and sub-divisions.
