Peren, June 8 (MExN): The All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA), Peren unit after “seriously scrutinizing” the plight of All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers Group (ANATG) have made an appeal to the state government to immediately regularize the service of 1166 adhoc teachers in the state.
ANSTA Peren unit president Kaibakam Pamai and general secretary Haidun in a press release stated that the education department is in clear knowledge that the ANATG members had fulfilled all the criteria, terms and condition directed to them by undergoing required professional training, suitability test conducted by the department on May 20, 2017, spot verification of documents on May 22, 2017.
The Association also stated that despite their services rendered for 8-9 years with fixed pay salary they were “disregarded, unaddressed and denied justice.”
Therefore, in the light of all the formalities being done, the ANSTA Peren unit urged the state government to regularize the post of 1166 teachers of various categories without any further delay.
On the other hand, ANSTA Peren unit also supported the ongoing agitation of the state SSA teachers and urged the state government to find an amicable solution to fulfill their demand at the earliest.
