The All Nagaland Social Welfare Field Staff Employees Association (ANSWFSEA) has suspended its agitation regarding grievances of ICDS supervisors. This decision was taken following assurance received from the Chief Minister’s Office that its demand for amendment of the service rules would be taken up for approval in the next cabinet sitting.

The association had staged an agitation at the Directorate of Social Welfare, Kohima today but called it off after assurance from the CMO. ANSWFSEA president Benjamin told media persons that the agitation was not against anybody but to fight against nepotism, corruption and injustice.
