Kohima, November 18 (MExN): The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) HQs, Kohima held its raising day cum annual picnic on November 18 at Tsiesema Basa Ground.
Sanglee Chang, RTO, Kohima graced the occasion as special guest and exhorted the drivers on various driving disciplines and etiquettes.
The RTO also urged the drivers to recognize themselves as premiere steps in building a civic society and play important role in the Smart City building vision.
ANTA HQs president Vibasetuo Solo urged the drivers to be more sensible, reliable and honest in their approach to the passengers and public in general.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Meyieho Hibo, joint secretary ANTA HQs.
Meanwhile, Solo thanked the Youth and Village Council of Tsiesema Basa village for accomodating and also for letting the ANTA to use their village ground for football match.
The football match was won by Southern Sumo drivers while NST Local taxi parking became the runner- up. Around 800 taxi drivers, owners and members attended the programme.
