DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 12 (DIPR): Advisor, Higher Education & NBKHM, Deo Nukhu graced the inaugural function of the All Nagaland Secondary Teacher Education Institutions (ANTEI) Sports Meet 2017 as the chief guest on October 12. The two-day sports meet which is being held at IG Stadium, Kohima is sponsored by RUSA, Ministry of Human Development, Government of India. Deo Nukhu encouraged the students to be physically fit since it is needed for a sound mind. “Mental health depends on your physical health, if you are not physically healthy how can you teach your students, you can be physically fit through sports” He said. He expressed the need to have more sporting events at the college level, and said that there are provisions in the central government to fund such events. Wishing for the best to the students, he declared the Sports Meet Open. Principal, SCTE Kohima, H. Sema delivered the welcome address. Pastor Peraciezie Baptist Church, KevichalieMetha invoked God’s blessings. Chief Marshal, Aviza Chase administered the Oath to the teams while TemjenjunglaLongchar and VinokaSohe compered the function.
