A appeal to Church leaders on Family Sunrise Service

Dear comrades,

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our Risen Lord

We are in difficult time in our journey.  The Covid-19 has altered our normal plans for this season.  Though we are lock down,  we are not lockout! We continue to worship and enjoy the presence of our Lord at the comfort of our homes.

As we go through this passion week with our meditation on the deep agony of our Savior, and experience his pain in our lives,  we must also celebrate his victory in us.  On the resurrection Sunday it will be most appropriate for us to come out of our homes and shout to the Lord for the joy he brings to us and not only that the victory.

NBCC has graciously prepared the program which is self explanatory. We do this in our yard, garden, terrace, porch or even the roof top.  The timings are all set to follow. If we can ring the bell at the same time as scheduled it will also show our solidarity.

Therefore,  I request all the leaders to kindly disseminate this program to your constituent churches so that we celebrate the victory of our Lord over death.

Let me remind you that this is not ritualistic but a celebration of the historical reality on which our faith stands (1 Corinthians 15:17).

May God be gracious to us and make His face to shine upon us at this difficult times. In him we have our redemption and victory.

This is the time Naga churches should unite our heart and pray together

In His Service,

Rev. Dr. N. Paphino
