Appeal to make Dimapur a progressive & peaceful place

Advisor for Irrigation & Flood Control and SIRD, Tovihoto Ayemi on January 8 made a fervent appeal to the citizens to make Dimapur a beautiful and peaceful place to live in.

  “Together, we can bring positive changes and development in our respective areas of influence. So let us join hands to make Dimapur progressive and a peaceful place to live in,” he said after inaugurating a road at Haralu Colony, Dimapur which he funded personally. Tovihoto said any development taking place was a sign of initiatives taken by the leaders of the respective colonies, wards, areas etc and urged the public to lend their support to the leaders for common good. “Such development also reflects the unity within the colony or inhabitants and I give credit for construction of this road to the leaders of your colony, elders and Kuhoi Zhimomi,” he added.  

The local MLA also harped on the advantages of remaining united at all times and said that the people would continue to reap the benefits of their unity even in the days to come.  

A resident of Haralu Colony and Chairman of Sumi Council Dimapur, Kuhoi Zhimomi thanked Tovihoto for constructing the road and expressed gratitude and cooperation of the residents towards him.  

GBs, Haralu Colony Council members, elders and NPF party workers were also in attendance during the programme.
