Dimapur, February 5 (MExN): The 13 Assam Rifles under HQ 5 Sector Assam Rifles of IGAR (North) provided an LCD television set and a Tata Sky DTH under DGAR civic action project to the people of Kami village under Phek district in a function organized by the village council on February 1.
The chairman and head GB of the village expressed their heart felt gratitude to the Assam Rifles for undertaking such initiative for the socio-economic growth and awareness of the villagers, stated a press release issued by Lt Col RP Velu, PRO, IGAR (N).
In another occasion, the 13 AR also provided an LCD television and a Tata Sky DTH to the residents of Mitelephe village under Kohima district on February 1.
