DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 27 (MExN): Troops of Assam Rifles recovered contraband items worth more than Rupees 28 lakh at Khudengthabi, Manipur. A press release from the PIB, Defense Wing informed that on November 24, during a routine check at PVCP Khudengtabi, troops of Assam Rifles intercepted a suspicious vehicle driven by one Laishram Krishanamani (43 years). “After thorough checking of the vehicle, the team recovered Heroin weighing approximately 0.720 Kg valued at more than Rs 28 lakh,” the press release said. The detainee alongwith recovered items have been handed over to Police Station, Moreh for further investigation.
