Tuensang, January 3 (MExN): The 40 Assam Rifles have claimed the arrest of a suspected arms dealer from Tuensang on January 1, 2018. A defence press release informed that AR troops conducted an operation based on specific information along with a police representative and apprehended the suspected arms dealer. The accused was identified as K. Haothiu Khaimniungan, 29 years. One .22 Pistol with magazine, nine live rounds of ammunition, and Rs. 1,440 were recovered from his possession, the release claimed. The accused along with the recovered items was subsequently handed over to Tuensang police station.
