Kohima, June 10 (MExN): Akehda Sangtamlarü Thsingmüjang (AST) Kohima unit conducted one day legal awareness programme on the topic ‘Know Your Rights’ on June 9 at Red Cross Building, Kohima.
The programme was organised by Nagaland State Commission for Women in association with National Commission for Women, New Delhi and in collaboration with AST, Kohima unit.
Likhase Sangtam, Advocate of Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench, who was the resource person, encouraged the Sangtam women to be more aware of their rights and adhere to them, stated a press release received here.
The programme, chaired by Yutho Sangtam, AST Kohima general secretary, began with an invocation by Temsuienla, women pastor, Sangtam Baptist Church and concluded with vote of thanks by Nishili, executive chairperson, AST Kohima.
