ASU holds 1st union assembly

KOHIMA, AUGUST 3 (MExN): The Angami Students’ Union held its 1st Union Assembly on August 3 at Pfüchama Council Hall. The house deliberated on the agendas of Students’ code of conduct, to monitor and regulate tuition fees, render focus to the Drop-out Students to encourage and assist them under go training on Life –Skills.  

The conduct of an enumeration drive of all the Business Enterprises in Kohima town was also considered besides the further deliberations on meeting and consulting to collaborate with various Organizations for social Reforms.  

The ASU will also be organizing a Book Fest cum literary competition called ASU FEST in order to explore the talent of the young. Discussions were also held for the 18th edition NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy 2017 from 25th sep. till 24 Oct. 2017.  

Out of 82 units, 46 units under the Angami Students’ Union attended the meeting along with elders and seniors.
