Pune based post-rock band Aswekeepsearching will be performing in Kohima as part of their third album launch tour- ROOH.
Brought by imagi.NATION, Aswekeepsearching will perform at RCEMPA, Jotsoma on October 26 from 6:00 PM onwards.
Aswekeepsearching was formed in 2014 in Ahmedabad, India. They are the only Hindi post-rock band in the world.
The band includes Uddipan on guitars/vocals, Shubham on guitars/keyboard, Robert on bass and Sambit on drums. Perhaps unsurprisingly, aswekeepsearching have already performed at every major festival in India and abroad, including NH7 Weekender, VH1 Supersonic, dunk! Festival (Belgium) and Pelagic Fest (Germany).
The band will also be performing at the One Plus Music Festival this year, slated to be held on 17 November at Mumbai alongside Grammy award winners Katy Perry and Dua Lipa.
Their third album ROOH tops the Charts at no.3 in iTunes among Top 200 India Rock Chart Releases. Since their first album release ‘Khwaab’ in 2015 and having toured across the globe over the years, the band has come a long way and has a story to tell. The album is a musical adaptation of the band’s experiences, struggles, emotions & self-awareness over the years. ROOH- meaning soul, carries a story behind each song and is an experimental album, incorporating a broad range of genres into their sound.
At the core of their musical skill and lyrical artistry, aswekeepsearching intends to spread positivity and hopefulness through an emotive and honest approach.
