Mon, May 10 (MExN): The Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Mon conducted District Farmers Advisory Committee interaction programme on May 10 at the office of District Project Officer, Department of Land Resources, Mon. Biren Chetri, DPO, DoLR, and Project Director, ATMA, Mon, encouraged the farmers to do more of bottom-up approach practices and bring up training and demonstrations topics feasible at their farming systems and areas. The participants deliberated on various pest and diseases managements and the lack of banking institutions at Chen block, Phomching Block, Angjangyang Block and Tobu Block which creates untold inconveniences to open bank account. Participants from Agri and Allied departments attended the programme.
