ATMA Peren inaugurates integrated farm school

Peren, July 8 (MExN): Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Peren block inaugurated an ‘Integrated Farm School’ and conducted training and demonstration at Ngwalwa village on July 7.  

Mapeuheile Ndang, Agriculture Officer and Convener, in the keynote address highlighted about the farm school and activities of ATMA. The programme was chaired by Along, Block Technology Manager.  

Along also conducted demonstration on preparation of detergent for women to enhance their income. Later, training on package and practices of pineapple was given by Kewichamsi, Assistant Technology Manager (ATM). Kibale, ATM also imparted training on package and practices of areca nut. Both the resource persons taught on the economic and commercial aspects of the crops, informed a press release.  

Altogether, 37 farmers attended the programme.
