Zunheboto, August 19 (MExN): The ATMA Zunheboto block conducted a training on “Importance of balance feeding, vaccination and de-worming in pigs,” at CVO Zunheboto, on August 16.

A press release issued by the ATMA Zunheboto stated that the resource person for the programme was Dr Gwazenlo Tep, BTT Convenor, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon. Dr Gwazenlo educated the participants to avoid over feeding of pigs and suggested to adapt naturally available feeds for economic concerns. Vaccines and de-worming medicines were given to the participants. A demonstration on preparation of nursery tray was also conducted at Ami photo Zunheboto where BTM Zunheboto block. Chubatsur Jamir carried out a demonstration on soil tillage; preparation; addition of compost; plantation of seeding; watering, its importance and advantages. Nursery tray and winter Vegetable seeding were also distributed, it added.
