DIMAPUR, JANUARY 26 (MExN): On the occasion of 71st Republic Day, President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service & Police Medal for Meritorious Service were awarded to three other police officers. 


The President's police Medal (PPM) for distinguished service was awarded to Liremo Tsopoe Lotha, IPS, IGP (Trg. &Bdr.)


Meanwhile, the Police Medal(PM) for meritorious service were awarded to Tokiumong Yimchunger, IPS, IGP (NAP) Nagaland, Kohima; Chuba Walling, NPS, Dy. Commandant, 9th NAP (IR), Bn. Saijing; and Rishamo Philip Yanthan, UBI, OC,PS-II, DEF, Mokokchung, Nagaland. 


The Governors Gold Medal was awarded to M. Yambemo Humtsoe, NPS, SDPO (N), Kohima; K. Thavaseelan, IAS, Dy. Commissioner, Mon; Thejavizo Nakhro, NCS, EAC, Chumoukedima; Vilelie Khamo, Contractor; Lemsachenlok Society Longleng (NGO); and North East Initiative Development Agency (NEIDA), Nagaland (NGO). 


The Union Home Minister Medal for Excellence in Police Training for indoor category was awarded to Lulen Singson, UBSI, Nagaland Police Training School (NPTS); and Achila M. Jamir, ASI, Nagaland Police Training School (NPTS).  
The same award for outdoor category was conferred to Mhasinuo Tepa, Naik, 15th NAP (IR) BN attached to NPTS; and Bendangwati Phom, Havildar, Nagaland Armed Police Training Centre (NAPTC). 


Commendation certificates from the Governor were awarded to Bongkhao Konyak, ASI, DEF, Dimapur; Samzai, LDA, DC Office, Peren; Er. Petechetuo Miasalhou, Principal, NTTC, Industries& Commerce Department; Dr. Sivakumar, Dy. Director, Weavers Service Centre, Dimapur, Industries & Commerce Department; Kuolie Mere, Press Relations Officer (IPR Deptt), Nagaland house, New Delhi; Kekuo, Office Peon, Home Department; Yetachu, Post Commander, Havildar Major, Village Guard, Reguri Village, Meluri; Opangyanger Ao, Sanitation Inspector, Office of the Chumukedima Town Council, Dimapur; and Mase Angami, Dak Runner, Office of the Commissioner, Nagaland.


The Health & Family Department also awarded commendation certificate to several health care facilities based on the active community participation in the management and delivery of health care services in the district of Kohima. They included Tsemenyu Community Health Centre, Sechü Zubza Primary Health Centre and Thizama Sub- Health Centre. The Health care centers were awarded a certificate and cash amount of Rs. 50,000, Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 15,000 respectively.
