Tuensang, September 15 (DIPR): Programme on Awareness cum Demonstration on Online Electricity Payment was held on September 15 at DC conference Hall organised by the Department of Power, Tuensang. Er. N. Mozhui, Superintending Engineer Mokokchung Circle in his short speech stated that under the present Government of India initiative, digitalization of online payment of electricity bill is one of the important changes that can save our time unlike old system where one has to wait in queues to pay bills. Lhuvoyi SDO (E) explained the procedure for online payment where consumers can log on to www.dopn.gov.in or register their consumer ID and send to 7005405146 to get sms for bill and payment conformation. Short speech was delivered by Tsidi, EAC Tuensang and vote of thanks was delivered by Ahoto Aye, EE Tuensang. The programme was attended by Heads of Offices from Tuensang, Ward President from Tuensang and NGOs.
