Bailable warrants issued against Aarushi’s parents

Allahabad, February 28 (Agencies): Warrant has been issued against the Dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar over their alleged roles in the double murder case. Both Mr and Mrs Talwar are allegedly the prime and only accused in the much hyped Aarushi’s murder case. 13-year-old Aarushi was the only child of the dentist couple. However, a bailable warrant Rs 20,000 each against has been issued against Dr Talwars. The court also has dismissed Talwars’ plea for exemption from personal appearance before the magistrate. The court summoned the couple to appear before it today (Monday, Feb 28).
Meanwhile, the accused couple also moved the Allahabad High Court and filed a supplementary affidavit. Showing a number of facts which were come up during the investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the couple claimed that the investigative agency has overlooked those findings. Talwars accused CBI of denying the access to Aarushi’s computer system which was seized by the investigative agency. In their affidavit, the couple also pointed out that a DNA test conducted in Nov 2008 had concluded that the finger marks found on the terrace of their house, on a whiskey bottle found inside the house and on the pillow of another domestic servant Krishna, belonged to “the same person and most certainly a male.”
Aarushi was found dead in May 2008 in their Noida residence. Next day, Talwars’ domestic help Hemraj also was found dead. Dr Rajesh Talwar was initially arrested for the dual murder case, though he got bail. Later CBI in their closure report, after their two-year of investigation, accused Rajesh Talwar as the only accused for the two murders. The Talwars filed a case against CBI over their closure report in a special CBI court. But surprisingly, the special CBI court, for the first time named Aarushi’s mother Dr Nupur Talwar as the another accused of the dual murder.
