DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 17 (MExN): The ‘Bharat Ko Jano’ Regional Quiz competition 2019 will be held in Dimapur at Durga Mandir auditorium which will be organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Head Office Delhi.
Students from Eight states of Northeast will be participating in this Mega Competition. National President and National secretary along with Delegates and officials from other states of the country will be attending the programme to encourage students of North Eastern States. Bharat Ko Jaano is a quiz programme for the school children to increase their awareness about the distinctive features of our country and culture.
Over 15 lakhs students annually participate in this programme across the country. Every year over 2.5 lakh “Bharat Ko Jano” books are distributed among the school students for this competition. BVP has also launched Online Bharat Ko Jano programme for the students of Colleges and technical/professional institutes in India and abroad.
A Joint coordination meeting within all the office bearers and other officials of BVP North East was held in Dimapur at Hotel Sylhouete on November 16 under the chairmanship of Bishnu Bhattacharjee, Regional Secretary BVP NE (Sampark) wherein a subcommittee has been constituted to conduct the Quiz Programme and Regional conference of BV.
Pramod Singh President, Neeta Agarwal, Debika Roy (women coordinator), Kamal Choudhury, Cultural secretary, Pankaj Debnath, Youth coordinator and Dr Ramashankar Siromoni, Secretary of BVP Dimapur Branch were entrusted to take the charge in different departments to conduct the Regional Quiz Competition.
Swadesh Ranjan Goswami, National Additional Secretary General has been selected as Chairman of the Regional Quiz Competetion programme 2019.
